Nearly 2,000 persons are quarantined at their respective homes or in government-run isolation facilities in Goa.
“The Health Department in collaboration with Goa company MolbioDx has procured five machines and 2,000 ‘Truenat’ rapid testing kits, a one-of-a-kind PCR-based diagnostic kit, which will give results in one hour,” Rane added.
The Minister said that self-help groups had been assigned the task of stitching face masks, which will be distributed to health personnel.
