    Rajan Zed receives appreciation certificate for interfaith work in rural Nevada

    In a remarkable interfaith gesture, Senior Pastor of historical Epworth United Methodist Church in Fallon (Nevada) presented distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed with a “Certificate of Appreciation”.

    Citation of the Certificate; given to Zed publicly in a ceremony held in the briefing room of Reno Police Headquarters by Senior Pastor Reverend Dawn M. Blundell, who is also leader of Fallon Community Interfaith Group, stated: Certificate of Appreciation presented with gratitude to Rajan Zed for leadership and commitment to interfaith work in rural Nevada communities.

    Global religious statesman Rajan Zed has taken-up interfaith, religion, European Roma (Gypsies), and other causes all over the world. He has read opening prayers in the United States Senate and US House-of-Representatives in Washington DC; various State Senates, State Houses-of-Representatives, County Commissions, City Councils all-over USA; covering 292 legislative bodies in 43 states. He was invited by the President of the European Parliament in Brussels (Belgium) for a one-on-one meeting to promote interfaith dialogue.

    Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, had been panelist for “On Faith”, a prestigious interactive conversation on religion produced by The Washington Post; and has been producing weekly interfaith panel “Faith Forum” in a Gannett daily for over 11 years.

    Fallon Epworth United Methodist Church has been serving for over 100 years, and defining itself, it talks about “our responsibility to love one another as God has loved us” and states “love spoken here”. It is a part of the California-Nevada Conference of the United Methodist Church, and undertakes various service projects in the community. Reverend Blundell has reportedly been in ministry for nearly 20 years.
